Brushing and Flossing greatly reduce Gingival Bleeding and
 Bad Breath

A recent study shows that dental flossing and tooth brushing is a quick and an effective
way in reducing gum disease and bad breath.

Study shows that just two weeks of flossing, added to regular tooth brushing significantly
reduce gingival bleeding and bad breath.(38% reduction in gingival bleeding and less bad
 breath).

Tooth brushing alone is not enough. Infact, brushing alone increases the chance of
 gingival bleeding by 4 percent.

Gingival bleeding and bad breath is often the initial signs of poor oral hygiene that may
 lead to further periodontal problems.

The results of the study were published in the Journal of Periodontology.

A good way to prevent periodontal disease ( gum disease) and tooth decay is through
at-home oral hygiene care and regular dental check-ups.
