 Bad Breath Causes.

 The topic of bad breath causes has received extensive research.

 I  will refer you to the findings of  Dr. Harold Katz the world's leading bad breath expert.

 He is the founder of California Breath Clinics and here he shares his knowledge on
  what causes bad breath & What the symptoms mean.

 Dr. katz has done an extensive research (over 10 years) on bad breath, halitosis and
 taste disorders.

 Can your toothpaste cause bad breath?. He shares his findings from his research
 on why
your oral products May be giving you Bad Breath. Products includes
 toothpaste, mouthwash, chewing gum, spray etc.

 Note: I am recommending Dr. Katz to you because his clinically proven techniques
 in eradicating bad breath worked for me.

 I was very amazed by some of his findings from the research, for example did you know:

 -The bugs that cause bad breath actually live under the surface of your tongue?
 - The only thing that really kills bad breath is oxygen (OXYD-8)?

 I recommend you read his articles and discover the culprit behind bad breath and how
 to get rid of it.

 conditions under which bad breath becomes worse.

* Certain foods that we eat for example onions and garlic, can contribute to bad odor.
 When these foods are digested and absorbed in the bloodstream it is transferred to the
 lungs where it is expelled and comes out as bad breath. This is a temporary situation
 and will stop once the body has processed and eliminated the food.

 You could minimize the effects of (bad breath) caused by these foods by brushing,
 flossing and mouthwash. This situation is not limited to just onions and garlic, other
 foods like milk and cheese, fish and coffee have been proven to contribute to halitosis.
 It is important to note that all other foods that we eat can contribute to bad breath if
 threes no regular brushing and flossing.

 Food particles that remain in the mouth tongue and between teeth encourage the build
 up of bacteria that will cause the food particles to rot and therefore resulting to b
ad
 odor.

* Dry mouth (Xerostomia)

  “Saliva”. You probably don’t give much thought to this important feature of the
 mouth. Saliva is necessary for it cleans the mouth and removes particles of food that
 may cause bad breath. Dry mouth occurs when there’s decreased amount of saliva in
 the mouth, which can be caused by various medications (usually prescribed for high
 blood pressure or depression and antihistamines), adult beverages with alcohol in them,
 problems with salivary glands or continuous breathing through the mouth. It is advisable
 to see your dentist who may prescribe artificial saliva. Drinking lots of fluids will also
 help.

* Tobacco products

 These products have been proven to contribute to bad breath.

* Medical disorder

 Bad breath can also be because of the following health disorders: Infections in the
 respiratory track, chronic sinusitis, postnasal drip, chronic bronchitis, diabetes,
 gastrointestinal disturbance, liver or kidney ailment.

* Oral hygiene

 Regular dental visits for professional check ups and cleaning is essential in maintaining
 fresh breath. Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debri and
 plaque. Daily flossing will remove food particles in between teeth.

* Severe dieting

 Dieters may develop unpleasant “fruity” breath from ketoacidosis, the break up of
 chemicals during fasting.
